This award is for sponsorship projects that have supported a tournament, organization, union / federation, team, club, event, activity or person within either code of rugby. This can be through financial support or the provision of products or services. US$500,000 represents the minimum total investment in the project including rights purchase and leverage budget. Entries can be submitted by the sponsor, its beneficiary or appropriate agencies, consultancies and third parties.
Entries must outline the project's objectives and strategies, how these were met and details of how the sponsorship was leveraged.

Outstanding Advance in Technology, Innovation or Research
Rugby organizations eligible for this award must have made a significant breakthrough or advance in technology, innovation or research. Judges are looking to reward a tangible contribution to the development of rugby which benefits players, fans or governance. Entries can be submitted by the organization or appropriate agencies, consultancies and third parties.
Commercial Department of the Year
Entries for this award can be made by clubs, franchises, regions and provinces of any size, alternatively nominations can be made by appropriate agencies, consultancies and third parties associated with relevant commercial department.
The award is based on outstanding commercial achievement including overall performance by the department, revenue generation, securing a new or improved sponsorship programme, specific hospitality initiatives or any relevant ground breaking work.
National unions and federations are NOT eligible for this award.
CSR Programme of the Year
Entries for this award can be made or nominated by sponsors, governing bodies, charities, clubs, franchises, regions and provinces or appropriate agencies, consultancies and third parties. All of which have devised and delivered outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility activities within the communities they reach.
Entries must demonstrate the objectives and strategies and how these were met, along with details of how it was leveraged.
Rugby Business Person of the Year
This award recognizes and celebrates the achievements of an individual based on their commercial ventures following their rugby career. Nominees must have played senior level rugby for more than 5 years and have gone on to demonstrate excellence in business as well as making an ongoing contribution to rugby.
Nominations will be accepted by individuals on their own behalf or by third parties.
Rugby Correspondent of the Year (Closed nominations)
This award is for the individual considered to have made the most significant contribution to print, broadcast or online media. Nominees must show a clear and fare representation of the continents. Professional peers will be invited to submit a shortlist of 6 nominees, 3 from each hemisphere, although nominatees can only be nominated for their work for one broadcaster or publisher exclusively.
The organizers will then approach the relevant newspapers or broadcasters for 3 examples of the nominee's work which will be submitted to the judging panel.
Union / Federation of the Year
This award is for a home union, federation or governing body that has shown outstanding dedication to the growth of rugby in the areas under its remit and demonstrated success in its achievements within the sport.
